Placenta calcification grade 3
maybe I’ll find a few like-minded people who can give me courage!?
My FA referred me to the KH today because my placenta is heavily calcified and I keep getting a hard stomach, but CTG was okay.
I have known about the calcification for 2 weeks when another FA diagnosed it, but it was still grade 1.
They examined me in the hospital, CTG okay, Doppler too, the kid’s heart sounds good and enough amniotic fluid. Today I am at the beginning of 34 weeks and it weighs around 2,000g, should be good too.
Only the calcified placenta with grade 3 should be watched.
Since I received a “briefing”, the hospital would be obliged to keep me there for observation. But honestly, there is nothing you can do about the calcification anyway and I let myself be dismissed at my own risk and should just lie at home and if something comes up (also live directly across from the hospital). I’m actually fine, but now I have a bad conscience.
Should just MO go straight to the FA and she should check the weight and see that he continues to gain weight.
My question now, who has a calcified placenta meanwhile grade 3 and what do your doctors say about it?
The fact that my stomach gets hard all the time are surely downward pains and I’ve had them since the 34th week of pregnancy, isn’t it too unusual, is it?
Thanks for reading, even if it’s been a long time, sorry….
