The Befana is about to arrive! Here is a funny fairy tale about the nice old woman to tell the children.
The broom of the Befana is very angry: “I’m tired!”,
he murmurs to himself. “Every year the same story:
I am loaded with very heavy gifts, I fly all night
around the world and in the end I find myself all bald,
with ugly dark circles and rheumatism! ».
So the broom goes to the Befana and tells her: «My dear, you know what
I tell you? This year, to bring gifts to children, buy yourself
a vacuum cleaner because I … strike! ».
«But you cannot, you are my faithful helper! Only you know
all the roads of heaven! ” the Befana replies very worried.
«I don’t care, I’m tired of doing all this effort.
I go to sleep!” the broom replies, and in an instant
she has already slipped into the closet to rest in peace.
Disconsolate, the Befana goes to the mall and buys a vacuum cleaner.
Back home she starts studying it, but she doesn’t really want to
to read the instructions for use: that contraption,
ultra-modern and shiny, it puts a little fear in her.
Then he takes courage and tries it: he climbs on it, turns it on and tries to leave.
The vacuum cleaner emits a tremendous roar and seems to have gone mad:
makes dangerous and very fast curves, so much so that they come to the Befana
her hair purple with fear. Hit some buttons at random trying
to stop it but, without realizing it, press the “Super suction” button.
What a mess! In a moment all the gifts are sucked, but they are
too many and the vacuum cleaner can’t do it, it gets stuck and… BUM! explodes.
The Befana is found on the ground:
the skirt is all wrinkled, the knickers
they are scorched and the stockings are filled with holes.
At that point, he decides to make a proposal to hers
unique, true and irreplaceable helper: the broom.
«Dear friend, let’s do this: help me deliver
the presents and, when we’re done, we’ll go
to rest in the Caribbean. What do you say?”.
“Mmmm” replies the broom, “Okay,
I like this idea a lot! ».
And so every year, on January 7, on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world
you can see the Befana and the broom resting blissfully.
But what happened to the vacuum cleaner? He sleeps in the closet …
waiting to be useful for the next spring cleaning!
