Here, then, are some games to better address the back to school thanks to the advice of Alessia Salzani, tagesmutter at the Baby360 Cooperative.
«It is good to face this delicate and particular moment spending time together to their children, playing simple and stimulating games and perhaps asking their help for to label, bind books and notebooks e temper the pencils they will have in their case ».
1) The casket of the holidays
To make this game, you will need to have a good memory and prepare the material already at the beginning of the holidays. It starts with recycling one box shoes or a gift received: as long as it has a lid. It can be colored or decorated with stickers, scraps, lace and so on and so forth: it will be this box that becomes one treasure chest of memories!
During the summer holidays you will invite the child to collect and close inside the “casket” all the objects that will remind him of a place or a special moment spent together: for example, a stone found on a path; a shell taken on the beach; the placemat of his favorite bar; the feather of a bird found on the way; the admission ticket to the adventure park where you were together, and so on.
«Upon returning, the casket will open and we will try to reconstruct the history of their holidays through the collected objects. It will not be necessary to talk about every single object: it will be enough to take only the objects that will awaken in the child special memories, related to special sensations, which will stimulate in him the descriptive and narrative ability“.

«The child, even without particular invitations, will begin by himself to create logical groupings by shape, color and size. Depending on the age and the class, he may be asked to make some sets of figures which and have the same number of angles or sides or to make sequences (from the smallest to the largest, from the figures that have more sides to those with fewer sides and so on) ».

In this way the child trains himself to recognize not only the color, but also the graphic sign of his name …
