THE ‘Ópera – International Decoration Fair, Maternal Fashion, Baby, Kids & Teen once again establishes a partnership with specialists and exhibiting brands to present the launches of the children’s market and announces the arrival of new brands coming from various parts of the country.
THE 28The edition of the Opera Fair, it happens from 22 to 24 November at the Pro Magno Events Center, in São Paulo, and is the largest B2B business event in the children’s market.
Recognized as a platform for launching trends for the children’s market, the Opera is an innovative fair, which follows the model of the most relevant worldwide fairs, with exhibitors ranging from large industries to small producers, presenting their launches in standardized corridors and stands, since the fair is organized by sectors, facilitating the search for shopkeepers for everything that will fill their windows: clothes, shoes, accessories, trousseau, decoration, furniture, stationery, toys, childcare and jewelry.
The selection of brands is carried out carefully so that shopkeepers find news and differentials to compose their mix of products. Innovation in product development, seriousness in commercial relations and good cost-benefit are some of the criteria used in the curatorship of the fair.
In this event, the shopkeeper has the opportunity to talk with the product designers, with the owners of the brands and, thus, establish a relationship of trust and proximity – a true quality network.
Nothing Small Business
After 13 years of experience and 27th editions already held, the directors and founders of Opera, Fernanda Menezes and Frederico De Cunto, assure that the fair is in its most mature moment, doing relevant business for industry and retail. The expectation is that this next edition will generate around R $ 100 million in business.
Another important fact is the movement of about 3,000 shopkeepers, coming from the north to the south of Brazil, in addition to buyers from Latin American countries, visiting the 2,000 m2 of fair, organized in 10 sectors and 135 exhibitors (maternal fashion, baby, kids & teen, footwear, accessories, jewelry, trousseau, decoration, furniture, stationery, childcare and toys).
These numbers are justified by the positive growth of the market: according to data from ABIT and Abravest, the children’s fashion market grows by an average of 6% per year while the adult market presents a fall of around 10%.
Of the exhibiting brands, 65% come from other states, 29% of which are new brands and this year the fair receives the international brand – Old Bunch – from Argentina that produces 100% pimacotton pieces.
