It will take place at the Ariston Theater in Sanremo from 2 to 6 March the new appointment with the Sanremo Festival 2021, also this year led by Amadeus flanked once again by Fiorello, as happened in the previous edition and by eight co-hosts: Matilda De Angelis in the first evening, Elodie and Luisa Ranieri in the second, Vittoria Ceretti in the third, Barbara Palombelli and Beatrice Venezi in the fourth and, finally, Serena Rossi and Simona Ventura in the final evening. Zlatan Ibrahimović and Achille Lauro will be the regular guests of the event.
As in the previous edition, the competition will have two main categories: a Champions category made up of 26 singers and a New Proposals category made up of 8 singers. For the first time in its history, the event will take place without an audience due to the COVID-19 pandemic
The six winning artists of Sanremo Giovani 2020 and the two winners of the Sanremo Area who have acquired the right to participate in the Festival were announced by Amadeus on 17 December 2020, live on Rai 1. During the same evening the names were also announced of the twenty-six artists and their songs that will be part of the Samples section.

Aiello: Antonio Aiello, born in ’85, participates for the first time in the Festival with Ora

Coma_Things: The duo of Fausto Zanardelli and Francesca Mesiano was born in Milan in 2017. The Coma_Cose in Sanremo 2021 are at their first absolute participation with the song Fiamme nel occhi.
Ermal Meta: he presents himself as a soloist for the third time with A million things to tell you
Extraliscio feat. Davide Toffolo: Mirco Mariani, Moreno il Biondo and Mauro Ferrara with Davide Toffolo mark the rebirth of more traditional dance music. They come to the Festival with White Black Light
Fasma: Tiberio Fazioli aka Fasma is another of the rookies among the already much loved Big. In 2016 he founded his WFK crew and already has two albums under his belt, the last one released in February 2020, after participating in the Festival among the New Proposals. Francesca Michielin and Fedez: Fedez is the father of the year. Chiara Ferragni’s husband, formerly Leone’s father, is expecting a baby girl. Francesco Renga: Born in 68, discography and very long career, with this Festival reaches the eighth participation. The first dates back to 1991 with Timoria, while as a soloist 10 years later he won among the youngsters with Raccontami. He won Sanremo 2005 with Angelo. Lightning: Filippo Uttinacci was born on 12 September 1997 in Rome and arrives at the Festival with the song Santa Marinella
