placenta previa totalis (I’m scared !!!)
Hello, my dears,
I have a question. I was diagnosed with a placenta previa totalis very early on (completely covered cervix). Now I’ve (unfortunately) researched and read a lot on the Internet and now I’m worried.
After I called the clinic yesterday and wanted to make a note of myself for the SS course, the midwife said that it was possible that the placenta could still move up, but that would be rather unlikely with a totalis. A caesarean section would be necessary (I’ve almost come to terms with that). I wouldn’t have to take part in the entire SS course either, it would be partially “uninteresting” for me. I found it somehow strange. I am supposed to report again in the 20th week of pregnancy. Then you could plan more precisely.
Now my question:
How likely are bleeding in the last third ??? All over the Internet I only find horror stories about fall bleeding etc but nothing that says how high the probability is that you will get such bleeding at all.
I just want to make myself a little happy. I’m just afraid of potentially serious complications …
Can anyone reassure me or have similar experiences ???
