Is called Spotify Kids and is an app designed specifically for children aged 3 and over to offer them the opportunity to explore and listen to music in a safe and ad-free environment, privacy-proof and fully controllable by parents through a parent control that allows also to select the type of music that the child will be able to listen to (Audio for Young Kids or Audio for Older Kids).
The tracks, for the moment have been selected about 6000 from Nickelodeon, Disney, Discovery Kids is Universal Pictures, are all child-friendly and are, in fact, clustered, according to their characteristics, for smaller or older children. A real playground of sounds, as defined by society, where you can listen to songs to sing together, soundtracks and stories that children can explore, alone or with the family.
The idea is that the app follows the child’s growth stages and evolves according to his age. So as the little one grows, the catalog at his disposal will expand giving him access to a greater number of tracks and more suitable for his age. At the same time, the app will return results consistent with the musical tastes and habits of the child.
Spotify Kids, for the moment launched in beta only in Ireland, will only be available in conjunction with the subscription Premium Family.
