From today 9 March arrives on newsstands MeteoHeroes – Together for the Earth, the monthly magazine designed for children aged 4 to 7 e inspired by the only animated TV series entirely dedicated to the environment and ecology. This cartoon, produced by Meteo Expert-IconaClima and Mondo TV and broadcast from July 2020 on Cartoonito and from November also on Boomerang, deals with the issues of respect for nature, the importance of ecology and dangers of climate change: it has obtained the patronage of the Ministry of Education and University, the Ministry of the Environment, the Air Force and Legambiente. An exceptional ambassador is Andrea Giuliacci, a well-known face of Italian meteorology.
Raise children’s awareness to protect our planet
The MeteoHeroes magazine – Together for the Earth, on newsstands from Tuesday 9 March, will be one a learning and entertainment tool dedicated to raising the awareness of children with respect to the importance of protecting our planet.
Inside there are many stories is headings dedicated to the protagonists of the cartoon, who will teach young readers what it means to take care of your planet, just like they do in their adventures. Together with the magazine every month the children will also find one surprise with a dedicated game to be discovered in the Surprise Weather section. With the first release the magic pen to have fun writing your secrets with an invisible ink and discover them with the ultraviolet light of the cap. In the first issue also the MeteoHeores passport to complete and thus become an official helper of the MeteoHeroes.
The animated series tells the adventures of six little superheroes. Each comes from a different corner of the planet and is equipped with a specific superpower that allows you to unleash the atmospheric agents:
- Pluvia is able to make the rain fall,
- Nubess can control the clouds,
- Ventum can unleash the winds,
- Nix can make the snow fall,
- Thermo has temperature control,
- Fulmen is able to drop powerful lightning bolts from the sky.
In recent days, 15 new episodes have arrived on Cartoonito, following the great success of the previous episodes. The new website www.meteoheroes.com is also online and the Youtube channel will soon be available with many unpublished videos.
In every issue of the magazine six pages of comics, in which the six superheroes will continue theirs adventures to protect the environment, fighting against the pollution that causes global warming and climate change. Just like in the TV series, the MeteoHeroes fight against the most terrible of enemies: they are the Maculans, led by Dr. Makina, who represent the pollution caused by bad habits and harmful behaviors of human beings. The MeteoHeroes headquarters is the MEC (Weather Experts Center), directed by the scientist Margherita Rita (name that pays homage to Margherita Hack and Rita Levi Montalcini), located on the Gran Sasso in Abruzzo, where the Tempus artificial intelligence trains them. to control their powers.
The magazine will not miss the character sheets to discover all the curiosities about the heroes and many columns including World Day, Sos Terra, Mission of the month and Zoom on with many advice for the little ones on what behaviors to adopt to become like their superheroes.
